Total sales volume in 2019 has declined by 16% in DC, 10.5% in Northern Virginia, 19.3% in Montgomery County, and 18.5% in Anne Arundel County compared to 2018 figures.
Additionally, average days on market increased year-over-year across the DMV—from 41 to 51 in DC, 51 to 54 in Northern Virginia, 56 to 66 in Montgomery County, and 66 to 77 Anne Arundel County.
At the same time, median prices climbed by 12% in DC and 2.1% in Northern Virginia, while they declined by 0.9% in Montgomery County and 0.5% in Anne Arundel County compared to the prior year.
