Compass CEO: Why the Real Estate Market

is Booming Right Now

Our CEO, Robert Reffkin, recently wrote an opinion piece for CNN about why real estate is booming right now — in both suburbs and in major cities. While some headlines have suggested people are leaving major cities for the suburbs, cities are seeing increased activity as well. In fact, home prices grew in 96% of metro areas in the second quarter of 2020, according to the National Association of Realtors.

Sherwin-Williams is preparing to announce its official Color of the Year for 2021 later this month and has released its predictions for the top paint trends to expect in the year to come. After a tumultuous year, Sherwin-Williams has also curated four color palettes that are all about balance and rhythm.
