Across the DMV, the amount of time homes were on the market
before being sold, on average, decreased year-to-date — from 42 to 35 days in Northern Virginia, 52 to 48 days in Montgomery County, 63 to 51 days Anne Arundel County, 39 to 38 days in DC, and 50 to 41 days in Prince George's County. (1/1/19-1/30/19 vs 1/1/20-1/30/20)
At the same time, the median price of sold homes increased by 10.4% in DC, 8.5% in Montgomery County, 4.9% in Prince George's County, 8.1% in Northern Virginia, and 10.3% in Anne Arundel County compared to the prior year. (December 2019 vs December 2018)
